Spooktacular Costume 5K Walk and Run

Shine Like Sable, the Comet Cupboard, and City of Mason have been champions of kindness ensuring Mason City School’s students facing food insecurity have access to the essentials they need to thrive. We are thrilled to invite you to our 2nd Annual Spooktacular Costume 5K Walk and Run on October 31st at Corwin M. Nixon Park. This family friendly event encourages participants of all ages to showcase their most creative Halloween costumes and enjoy a dog and stroller friendly course winding through the heart of Mason. This is sure to be a frightfully fun day for our community. Race proceeds and donations will go to support the great work Shine Like Sable, the Comet Cupboard, and the City of Mason do to support our food insecure Mason City School students. Schedule: 7:30 AM: Race Day Check-in Opens (no need to come early if you do packet pickup before the event) 8:50 AM: Race Line Up and Announcements 9:00 AM: 5k Begins
